Loc Treatments
Caring for locs is about so much more than just a quick wash and a style. It's about deeply cleaning and styling your locs with the right products to prevent damage. Long and X-long locs require more time to shampoo than someone with shoulder length locs because product needs to be rinsed thoroughly from the hair. Not rinsing hair completely can lead to product build up that can also attract lint. Typically it takes me 25-30 minutes to shampoo longer length locs. Treatments provide an even deeper cleaning experience and customized maintenance experience.
Peace - Out Dandruff Treatment
Get ready for relaxation and refreshment as your scalp is massaged and detoxed with this organic scalp treatment enriched with activated charcoal, tanamu and Eucalyptus. Price will vary based on the length and thickness of your hair.
Aromatherapy Steam Hydration
Organic, aromatic oils are misted onto your locs and massaged into your scalp and allowed to penetrate deeper into the cuticle of your hair with steam hydration for longer lasting moisture and suppleness.
Detoxifying Loc Bath
Get ready for relaxation and refreshment. Your scalp will be massaged and detoxed with this organic scalp treatment enriched with activated charcoal, tanamu and Eucalyptus. Your hair will be soaked and cleansed with greater emphasis on removing product build up along the hair length.
The Loc Bath pairs well with Peace -Out Dandruff and as a means of detoxing locs before a lint extraction treatment
Lint Extraction
Areas around the nape are especially susceptible to lint during the fall and winter season when sweater and scarf fibers can get embedded in the locs. Catch it early to keep your locs healthy and lint-free.
In this treatment, I'm strategically removing locs with fine point tweezers to remove all visible surface lint and remove as much embedded lint as possible without damage the locs. Watch Now Prices may vary based on time needed.

Loc Repair/ Reattachment (10 or fewer)
Book this service for individual repairs or if there are 10 or less repairs that need to be done or re- attached. Loc Wrapping (Teen Stage) Locs or Pruning (Adult Stage)
Loc wrapping is a process that involves using your own loose hair to wrap around your locs. Palm rolling usually catches loose hair, but for some textures, usually on wavy or loosely coiled hair, the teen phase of locs can make the hair appear frizzier.
On mature locs, pruning can be done with sheers to trim the loose hair along the length of their locs.

Botanical Hair Masks/or Aphogee Protein Treatment

Strengthen your hair with a botanical hair mask using the finest natural ingredients or fortify your strands with a protein treatment. All treatments include steam hydration. Extension CPR
$75
Extend the life of your natural style of extensions with a CPR (Clean + Polish + Refresh) treatment between a full style redo. This service helps your style to last longer, while keeping your scalp healthy, hair moisturized and your style looking fresher. It includes a CleanerMe Scalp Cleanse or shampoo and a customized retightening of perimeter twits, braids with aromatherapy oils.
Lint Extraction in Progress...
This has to be done carefully. Sometimes there is so much lint embedded in the locs, you may have to cut, color, or do a repair if all of the lint is removed. The best thing to do is to prevent it by:

Sleeping with a satin pillowcase or scarf.

Protecting your hair from sweaters and scarfs during the fall and winter seasons.

Avoid using products that attract the lint, like beeswax and heavy conditioners and pomades.

Check your hair regularly and request an assessment. I check before I shampoo my clients and remove anything I see at the surface, but scheduling an extraction may be necessary if you have more.
