It was an honor to service the late Eric Jerome Dickey. I was heartbroken when he made his transition. I'll never forget the day he told me that he would feature my song in his book Pleasures, because he told me on April 1st, and I thought he was pulling my leg. He was also a comedian after all. What an honor to be included in the writings of one of my favorite authors! It was literally a dream come true for me.

Performing and participating in this event was a dream come true for me. When I first moved back to Atlanta, I had the pleasure of attending one of their shows and I was inspired and blown away by the performances and the curation of the show by Kemi Bennings.
I thought to myself, I would love to perform at this event. It happened sooner than I thought!
